James,
I am curious about your Aylwards, I live in McHenry County,
Illinois and there were two Richard Aylward families who came from the townsland of Knockmoylan, near Mullinivat,county Kilkenny, in the 1850/s to McHenry County, Illinois ( near the Wisconsin
border) I have alot of Mullinivat records as my Gr-Grandfather, Tom Phelan/Whelan was born 1/2 mile west of there. The church there is St.Beacons, I have been there.
When did your family come to USA, and where did they come from in County Kikenny.
