Thanks for responding.

Have you found any of these Flanagans in the census? Both the Canadian and American censuses list the year of migration. Even if that field was left blank you can tell from the birthplaces of the children: some of them might have been born in Ireland while the remainder might have been born either in Canada or the USA. This year of migration might help me.

Also, can you trace your Aylward line any further back? Specifically, do you have a death certificate on the Aylward in your family?
