I have James Aylward ,native of Ireland. First he came to Newfoundland; later to Onslow, where he lived five years with Mr.McCurdy. While there he married Mary Polly
Had five sons: John ,James , William, Edward,
,Thomas.Also had five daughters: Eleanor, Agnes, Margaret, Rebecca, & Keziah. Mr. Aylward was the first deacon to serve in the Baptist Church in Five Islands Nova Scotia.
I have found this info in a small book called The Story of Five Islands , Colchester, Nova Scotia. I'm still working on dates etc.
