Eliza Aylward is recorded as a witness at the marriage of my ancestors William Comper and Hannah Willson at St George, Bloomsbury, London in 1843. An Eliza Aylward, daughter of James Aylward and Elizabeth Comper, was christened in 1811 in Horsham, Sussex. I am trying to establish whether this Elizabeth Comper, who married James Aylward in 1811 in Horsham (daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth Cumper of Horsham, christened 1790), was the sister of the above mentioned William Comper (whose birth remains a mystery). Does anyone have links to this family?
