My Aylward ancestors were from Piltown near Carrick on Suir.
My great-gran mother was born Ellen Aylward later marrying thomas Maher in Nelson NewZealand.
Her parents were Martin and Ellen Aylward .
her siblings were :
John, Mary, Bridget, Catherine,James,Johanna,Edward,Ellen,Magie,Martin,Richard and Micheal.
Six of them came to live in NZ they were:
John who drowned in the Wanganui river,Mary,(m Turner)
Johanna (m McCormick), Edward, Ellen ( m Maher) and Micheal.
