I am descended from Anthony Abram Aylor, who came to America from Alsace-Lorraine, then part of Germany, in 1777. He was a RWS. HIs father's name was Jacob Aylor. Anthony's son was Anthony Abram Aylor, Jr. He was a private in the War of 1812. He and his wife Martha Lawrence (may have been the 2nd wife, not sure) were the parents of Martha Lawrence Aylor, who married Rev. Joseph Bradshaw. Their son Andrew Caldwell Bradshaw married Ann Hannah Gray. After her death he married Minnie Plosser. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth Bradshaw married Edward Lloyd Norment. Their daughter Dorothy Minnie Norment married Adolphus Clark "Ace" Simpson, Jr. Their daughter is me, Dorothy Norment Simpson Bennett.
