I'm not researching the Aylesworth name, but will share this info from my book 1891 "Biographical History of Pottawattamie Co, Iowa." A bio for Judge EGBERT E. AYLESWORTH, b. Milford, Otsego Co, NY, 1838. His father, deceased, was a native of NY, as was his mother, SAVINA ADAMS AYLESWORTH. They were the parents of six children, 3 sons and 3 daughters; the sons are EGBERT, LORENNE, AND FRETING; Freting still a resident of NY as are the sisters of this family. Judge Aylesworth was reared in his native town and educated at Hartwick Academy and the Delaware Literary Intitute, and began the study of law in 1861. In 1866 he came west to Iowa. He was married in New York to MARCELLA WINSOR, also a native of Otsego County. Their children are: Paul Clark, Ellen Winsor, Egbert DeWitt and Seth Winsor. END I hope this information helps someone.
