My gg grandfather FRANCIS MARION AYLSWORTH lived in IL in the mid 1800's.
My g grandmother ALICE CAREY AYLSWORTH was born in Ottawa, LaSalle, IL in 1857.
I know he went there because he had some relatives in IL and that he left probably before 1860 and moved to IA.

Francis was the son of WARNER AYLSWORTH and ABIGAIL UPTON. They were descended from ARTHUR AYLSWORTH

If this is familiar I will try to see if I can find any other information for you.
