I am helping my daughter-in-law with her descendancy chart and she says her grandmother Aura Mae Ayers was raised on a reservation but I have not been able to find anything to base this on. Her father was Charley W. Ayers born in 1891 in Kentucky? married to Stella McCleod born approx 1895. Charley died in Whitley in 1947. Does anyone have anything on the Ayres being Indian??????
