Looking for information on the family of Thomas AYER. He was born in Ireland in 1723. He was a patriot and served as a private under General Marion in the Revolutionary War. He md Sarah Frances MALONE and had at least two know children: Ann Peggy or Elizabeth who md James MAGEE;
and Lewis MALONE AYER who md Anna PATTERSON.
He died in Marlboro Co., SC in 1781.
