Thanks for the wonderful information. I've been in touch with one researcher who thinks that John Eyre (married Hannah Webb) was actually the son of Robert Eire and Cicely Crosse of Bronham, Wiltshire, England. I haven't yet investigated that line, but hope to get started on it sooner rather than later. If I turn up anything, I'll let you know.
