I am trying to find additional information on the following Ayer family from McLean County, Kentucky:
Katherine Johnson was a daughter of Susan Emma Shackelford and Archer Alexander Johnson. She was born February 26, 1873 in Oak Grove, McLean County, Kentucky, and died May 24, 1948 in McLean County, Kentucky. She married Alexander Jackson Ayer April 16, 1896 in McLean County, Kentucky. He was a son of Alexander Hamilton Ayer and Mary Duke and was born January 24, 1867 in McLean County, Kentucky, and died April 19, 1947 in McLean County, Kentucky.
