John Ayer came to America in 1637 with wife Hannah and 8 children. His son John Ayer[2] founded what was to become Franklin Ct.Married Sarah Williams and had several children. John Ayer[3] son of John Ayer[2] was born in Hannibal,Mass. in 1688. He married Sara Courdaughton, of Lyme Ct.,and settled in Saybrook ,Ct. at a place now called Ayers Point.His son John Ayer [4]was born Nov.1,1718. in Saybrook.His wife Abigail was born in1726. Their children were Nathan,Ruth,Abigail,Sarah,John[whosettled in Hebron]Keturah,jonas,Anna,Euniceand Mary.All these children were born between 1745 and1765. I hope this may help your search.
