Am seeking any information on AYERS lines, from Illinois, Iowa, and New York, in the 1800's.
My great grandmother, was born in Jan. 1876, in Illinois. Her name was Nellie B. AYERS.
According to the 1900 census in Kansas, her father (name unknown) was born in Iowa, and her mother (name unknown) was born in New York. Nellie married my great grandfather, Sylvester Harrison, in 1989, in Sedgwick co., Kansas. They had one child in 1900. Nellie died in 1901.
There was a farmhand working for Nellie and her husband, in 1900, by the name of Henry Ayers, born 1835 in New York, father b. in New york, mother born in New York. I believe Nellie and this Henry may be related. Could use any information that anyone could pass on.
