Seeking info on Anita Louise AYER b.24 Jan 1944 at either Miseracordia Hospital or St. Anne's Maternity Hospital, New York City.
Was adopted through New York Foundling Hospital 27 June 1946. Mother's name is either Nora or Norma.
Both birth parents served in the military during WWII. Mother entered military in May of 1943 possibly at Fort Dix, NJ. Father possibly died during the Normandy Invasion. Both parents believed to be from either Vermont or Maine.
Unable to determine if AYER is surname of mother or father.
Have friends who have gotten interested in their genealogies. Feel left out. Would like to know something about my ancestry.
