Axworthy and Exworthy

Hello everyone. I found this site only yesterday, What took me so long I don't know. I have been researchin the Exworthy family tree for the last 18 months and noticed that a few names noted on this site I have information on. My wife Helen is I believe a descendant of Samuel Exworthy born 1753 and died Germansweek, Devon on 26 June 1804. During my research the name Exworthy can change from EX to AX, HEX,and OX,AT on the 1881 census. I believe there are 2 strongholds of Axworthy's and Exworthy's in Devon. One centered south of Dartmoor ie Plymouth to Exeter and another north of Dartmoor. These I believe came from the Launceston area of Cornwall. Two of Samuel's sons John and William became farmers and it seems that William carried on the Axworthy surname and John The Exworthy, although as I said before it chopped and changed on a regular basis. I have a fair amount of information on the 'north' Exworthy's and Axworthy's and I am prepared to help/swop info with anyone who wishes.
