My Gt.Gt.Grandmother Mary Ann Axtell married William Watkins possibly around the shoreditch hackney area in London. They had a son called Robert Arthur born in 1853 in Hackney, but I have been looking for a marriage between Mary Ann and William for many months but have never been able to find one. I have even had a researcher looking for a marriage but he could not find anything either, so it is a bit of a mystery. Does anyone have Mary Ann and William in their family tree. Any info would be most appreciated. Patricia Thrower.
