My g grandfather was Jesse Samuel chambers and his parents were Lucy Axtell and George Chambers. Lucy's mother was Mary Stillaway and her father was Jesse Miller Axtell.
Look for the 1870 census in Indiana of a George and Lucy Chambers. Jesse S. was their son age 1 and Ellen Copeland Lucy's daughter by a previous marriage.
