From the 1891 "Biographical History of Pottawattamie Co, Iowa" I have an extended biography for LOVRIDGE SAMUEL AXTELL, (b. Nov 24, 1832) son of SAMUEL AXTELL (b. abt 1794), Samuel the son of THOMAS AXTELL (b. NJ abt 1750) a Revolutionary War soldier. Thomas first married MARY TUTTLE and had 8 children; after her death, he married NELLY McLAIN and had 2 sons. If anyone wants this extensive biography, just e-mail me.
