Hi Bruce:
Another branch for your tree. I am an Axtell cousin living in Morris County, NJ. My line is - William, Thomas, Henry, Daniel, Henry "the blacksmith", "Major" Henry, Silas, Mary Reeve (married Daniel Thompson), Silas Axtell Thompson, Mary Axtell Thompson (married John Kline Philhower), Lida Lewis Philhower (married George Edgar Babbitt, Jr. She was born Eliza Lewis Philhower as noted in "The Axtell Record". Didn't like the name Eliza so she changed it to Lida later), Claude Philhower Babbitt, Lewis Shipman Babbitt (me).
