I don't know if it is a connection or not. I came across the Axford and Cooke names while going through a photo album which once belonged to my great, great grandfather. A picture taken in Ottawa, Ontario (close to Drummondville) shows Walter Axford and his wife Priscilla "Prissy" Cooke.

A photo taken in Montreal shows Mrs. Rank Burnett, sister of Prissy Cooke.

A photo taken in Madoc, Hastings Co., shows Julia Brown, sister of Prissy Cooke.

Yet another photo shows Prissy's nieces and nephews - children of Tom (Butler?).

Does anything sound familiar? Thanks
