I am a direct descendant of Isaac and Mary Axford. A family tradition is that Hannah Lightfoot was the mistress of a very influential person, and was married off to Isaac. Certainly he returned to Wiltshire and was set up in a grocery business. My grandfather was Rice James Everett of Warminster, and his wife was called Annie? Luke. Jean p-laidy has possibly used some of the story i her novel "The Quaker Mistress.
