Hi Louis, are my Avina's sounding familiar to you or your family? Simona "Simonsita" Avina was my great great grandma and she was born in 1869 in Zacatecas. Her parents were Apolonio Avina and Valentina Munoz (some say it was Nunez. It's still being proven).
