Dear Linda, I think it is so interesting
that your family has lived in Wash. Co. for
over two centuries. I have been to Wash. Co.
18 times from California, searching for
Aveys, Spielmans, Keedys, etc. My grandmother
was Minnie Bell Avey from Mt. Morris Ill.
Her father was Thomas Jefferson, son of
Christian, son of Samual, son of Joseph,
son of Henry. My Aunt, who started our family history lived in Silver Springs, Md.
and started comming up to Wash. Co. asking
questions during World War One. She spoke to neighbors who had first hand knowledge
of the very people we are tracing. It seems
incredable. I have three Avey books writen
by Michael Avey of Seattle b-1941. I helped
him with his research and he sent me the
results. No close relation. Let me know if
I can help you with Jacob?? mickryan@bigfoot.com
