I am interested in finding the family of George Elmore Averitt, born 12-17-1847 and died 12-25-1924. His niece, Clara Etta McGuire married Howard Montross Leonard on 10-8-1901. Their daughter, Helen Emma Dorward, nee Leonard, is my husband's Grandmother.
I am interested in rounding out the family tree and would be happy to share what information I have on the Averitt's and extended families.
In addition, I have pictures taken in the late 1880's and 1890's that we cannot identify. Perhaps some of them are Averitt's. If someone is willing to look at the photos I can copy them and mail the photos to you. If some of them are Averitt's and you want copies of the pictures, I am more than happy to scan them and send a disc.
