Looking for information on John Averit, estate appraised June 1811 in Hancock Co., GA. He received bounty land in Washington County as early as 1789 for service in the Rev. War. I believe that two of his sons were David and Mathew Averit. Other Averetts that bought some of his estate were, William, Henry, Archiles, Benjamin, Jermiah, Drewry, David and Mathew. Any info on these people would be greatly appreciated!!!
