I'm also looking for Thomas' parents. In my data base I have him b. 1680 in Brunswick Co., VA and married to Sarah Tanner. His children were Henry, William, Matthew, Isham, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, and James. The son Henry Averitt b 1741 in Mecklenburg Co., VA who married Wilmoth Rudd is my ancestor thru Washington [1790-1853] who married Joyce Hailey. I can supply data on other children of Henry, too if anyone is interested.
