James, I am looking for information a John Averett who served in the Rev. war from Burke County. He might be the same John Averet who recieved bounty land in Washington (now Hancock Co., GA.). There was also a John Averit who is granted land in Burke Co in 1769. Are you familiar with any John's? Any and all information would be appreciated.
