Hi,
Sorry about my typing mistakes should be 1785. No this Henry Blurton was from North Carolina and than moved to Tennessee.
He married in Johnston County, North Carolina. Moved to Tennessee about 1800. I suspect with his brother Edward
Blurton who is my ancestor. They moved to Tennessee because of land grants received from service in ARW.
I have fround this name spelled Averet in marriage records and Averitt in other places so not sure which spelling is correct. Their were a lot of the Averitt shown in Bertie County, North Carolina in the 1764 Tax rolls.
