Steve, I did not realize that you still lived in or near Nash Co. Glad to hear that you were able to clean up the cemetery.
I finally remembered to ask my mom if she knew of any of the family that was still in the area. Unfortunately, most everyone that she could recall was deceased. Her father had moved from Nash to Sampson Co before she was born. The last of her family in Nash was Aunt Mary, Mary Eaton Avent who was her half sister. Aunt Mary's mother was Bessie Eaton Thorne.
Would you happen to know a Frank Avent, about age 53 that went to UNC and served in the Air Force? I met him at Carolina in ROTC, but I lost track of him after he graduated.
I'm still trying to get my side of the family's data to you for your site, but it appears that I have maxed out my Generations software and will need to upgrade to something new so that I can create charts again.
