Hi Tracey,
Sorry I can't enlighten you to your query about Mary Avent but I have one for you. I have traced my Avents back to John & Angelina who were married in Stoke Damerel in 1846. John's father is listed as James. J & A had a son Richard born in Totnes in 1863. Do any of these names appear in your tree? Regards Debbie.
