I don't believe the NHS Exec Director reads his own publications. References cited for Thomas Avent in his listing in "Register of Qualified Huguenot Ancestors of the NHS" are:
M.L.A. Parker - Avents and Their Kin, pgs 7/8
Agnew, French Protestant Exiles,Vol 2, pg 175
Schoenberg's Hesse - members of Original Regiment
Avent Bible
R.A. Bruce - History of Virginia, Vol 5, pg 438
Huguenot Society of London, Denizations and Naturalizations of Aliens in England 1509-1703
Societe de L'Histoire du Protestantisme Francais, Index A-G
Hope this helps.
