I am trying to determine the given names of B. W. Avent. The 1850 Water Valley, Yalobusha Co., MS census shows him b. ca 1796. He was married to Mary, b. ca 1800 . Their children were: Elizabeth, b. ca 1833, Martha Winifred, b. ca.1834, Thomas, b. ca 1836, Victoria, b. ca 1838, Delia B., b. ca 1840,Joseph, b. ca 1842 and Charles B., b. ca 1844. The entire family was born in NC. Martha Winifred married my ancestor, Dr. Theodore Adolphus Lewis 5-23-1854 at Water Valley. Does anyone have knowledge of this family?. Any help is appreciated.
