Looking for ancestors of Mary G. Avent b. 1815 NC, and Theophilus H. Lawrence. Also ancestors of Ann Elizabeth Avent b. 1832, NC who married James Cotten. Know they were sisters and daughters of Rev. William Avent and Ester Watts Clegg. Same ancestry on both lines. Need ancestors previous to Col. Thomas Avent, 4 generations prior. All Avent information welcome.
