STILL LOOKING FOR THE ELUSIVE LADY WHO IS KNOWN IN MY HUSBAND'S FAMILY ONLY AS "MISS" AVANT; she married John McMillan / McMillen who became postmaster in Marion County. Her descendants are written up in my husband's great-grandfather's book HISTORY OF MARION COUNTY SOUTH CAROLINA and if you should have her in your family, please let me know her first name
