My great grandmother was Mary Catherine Avant/Avent. Her Father was Joseph Alphaus Avent/Avant. Joseph's father was Francis Marion Avant/Avent. Francis' father was Benjamin Avent/Avant born 1799 in NC. I am very interested in any info on this side of my mother's family. I want to write a book on my roots for my seven children.
