I was told many years age that the Avalos nameorgin came from Russia. I remember as a young girl I met a professor that told my father and I thta the name had been slighty changed over the years but the orgin was from Russia. I have never been able to trace this because of time and resources.
I do know thta my paternal grandmother's last name was Avalos,Sofia
my grandfather who was a de la Rosa. My father was born in Leon Guanajanto, Mexico in 1946.
