One record shows that he was born in Alabama, married Martha Ann Ramsey Jan. 22, 1860 in Tuscaloosa, AL, and died in Phillips Co., AR in 1876 on a trip west. His oldest daughter, Sarah Axeline, our line, married Andrew Jackson Porter, Jr., in AL in 1879. We can't find out for sure who the parents of William Eldridge were or where he and they were from. There are many Williams with the Autry/Awtrey name. Any help would be appreciated. Notify Administrator about this message?
