I am searching for James Hill Awtrey's parents. I found a census report showing Jacob Awtrey married to Isabella McLain with a son James at the right age. In the family bible I have James Hill Awtrey born about Nov 13 1833 in Morgan County Georgia and his second wife Martha Cleveland Reeves married in Crawford County. They had 9 children: All born Crawford County Georgia: Thetys Ayesha; James Milton; Isabella Louisa; Emerson Brown; John Marion; Martha Euphrenia; Emma Theressa; William Claudius; and from the first marriage: Ida May Awtry. I saw a picture of John English Autry/Awtry and it is a perfect image of my father..I am wondering if there is a family connection here.
