Thank you, Myra!! The info you gave seems to fit perfect! My ggrandmother never knew her father or even his name. We have always assumed he must have died when she was an infant. There is a WILLIAM T. SHELNUTT in a tree from Family Tree Maker. It's Vol. 5, #2908. In case you haven't seen this, it's great. Tells about the name Shelnutt and that all of them in this country are decended from two brothers.

It says WILLIAM was b. 6-1857 & d. abt. 1909. That's as far as the info went. No wife or children.

I checked out your home page some last night and going to again later. Can't believe all the names! Any other info you might have would be greatly appreciated by all my family. Thanks again for your help.
