There is a Malissa Jane Autry/Awtrey, born 6 May 1861 prob. in DeKalb County, GA and died 7 Feb. 1938 in GA who married first, William T. Shelnutt, 13 Sept. 1876 in Haralson County, GA. She married secondly, Jim Felton and thirdly, Fred Parrish. She was a younger sister to my Araminda Autry/Awtrey (1851-1927). This might be your line.

They were the daughters of David Gresham Awtrey and Elizabeth Morgan Kirby. I have sources and additional information. You also can search my database (look under Vanderpool) at my home page:
