Hi
I can not remember what the name of the town in Oklahoma was before it was changed to "Gene Autry" and has a museum all about Gene. He did live in Ok. Do not know how long.
Why not go to Library and research him.
Just looked in old Almanac and it says he was born in Tioga, Tex. 9/29/07
