Looking for male Autry (?) being in Big Sandy around 1880's buying land from and marrying daughter of prominent Indian (tribe unknown). Wife died in childbirth (his mother, my grandmother). Some stories about her family exhuming her body from local cemetery. Husband remarried; supposed county official - maybe postmaster or tax assessor collector. My father remembers being called "squaw-baby" even in high-school. Other locations include Marshall and Windsboro.
