I am looking for info. on the Autry family. Death certificae states Dave Autry born in Wake Co. in 1886. He married Margie Hardy, d/o Alec Hardy and Rosa Smith, before 1916. Dave and Margie are buried at City Cemetery, Raleigh. All their children were born in Wake Co.

The problem may be that Dave A. Autry was supposedly left and raised by 2 women. The story says that when one of the women died it was "discovered" that she was actually a man. Dave had a brother referred to as "Bud."

Dave's death certificate lists his father as William Autry and his mother as Mary Ann Workman.
