Looking for info for John C. AUTRY, probably born South Carolina abt 1810-1818. Married Sarah Ann TILLERY b-abt 1819 SC. One son known of William Henry Harrison AUTRY b-31 Dec 1841 in Edgefield District, SC. It is possible that Sarah's last name was BOATWRIGHT. John & Sarah moved to TN, and quiet possibly lived in Jackson, Smith, Putnam counties.William married Mary Jane SMITH, b abt 1845 TN, probably Putnam County. Chn of Wm. & Mary Jane:William Vann, b-17 Apr 1867 TN;Mary Ann, b- abt 1869; Sarah Ella, b-19 Sept 1873 Hartsville, Smith Co.,TN; Robert Lee,b-25 July 1877 ?KY; John Wesley, b-3 Sept 1882 Putnam Co., TN; Lillie Mae, died age 19 of mercury poison.
