I am looking for information on the Elisha/Elijah Autrey-who married Ritty (or Kitty) Wesson 13 July 1840, Benton County, Ala. He is said to be a son of Cornelius and Nancy (Eaves) Autrey.
According to the Bundy-Brooks book on the Autreys, Elisha/Elijah should have been in Alabama in 1850 and in Pike County, Ill, in 1860.
I need to look at his entries in the 1850 Alabama census and the 1860 Illinois census, but have not been able to find them.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can tell me where to look for him in those censuses or who can tell me something about him..
