I've purchased the Autry family book by V. Mayo Autry, and although it is quite informative, trying to put the pieces together is a challenge due to 2 things, an illegitimate son names James (Westley) Autry br: 1839, and South Carolina, not much else. I'm narrowing the James down, to a James that was br: SC in 1758. We found James Westley, who went by the name Westley, living with a Betsy, in S.C. Could she be the wife of John Autrey, br: 1790 SC, Betsy Rorie? Is anyone working on this SC/ John combo? Please let me know if you are> Thanks, Joni Spires...SpiresJaySpi@aol.com
