Hello Anne and others,

Sorry I have no information on your Wesley S. Auten, but do have an interest - though a wild card. My ggg grandfather was James Wesley AUTEN b. 1783 in PA, his son was James Wesley AUTEN b. 1809, PA, etc. the name Wesley going on down to my g Uncle who was Edwin Wesley Auten. Where did the name 'Wesley' come from? Does anyone have any idea?

Cheers, nancy
