Jill,
FYI in the 1770s the great Polish Empire was split 3 ways with the west going to Prussia, the east to Russia and the south to Austria... that Austrian part was known as Galicia or Galicy. It would not be until after WW I (1918) that Poland would be reunited into a single country.
Wislok (sounds like vislok) is located in SE Poland, near the Ukraine border, located approx. 200 miles SE of Warsaw.

It is in the Sanok region on the Wilok River.
The name FALAT is found in Ellis Island records from Wislok/Vislok, listing their Race as Ruthenian. This group of people lived in the area of what is now N Slovakia, W. Ukraine and SE Poland, typically they are of Byzantine Rite Catholic faith (aka Greek Rite Catholic... not to be confused with Greek Orthodox Church). The group of Ruthenians living in SE Poland are also known as Lemkos.
At the link below you will find an article about Wislok/Vislok.

And... Habura is now located in Slovakia... about 10 miles from Wislok Wielki (means Big Wislok)! That is not a surprise as the name MATZKO also sounds like it is Ruthenian.

Also, if you are serious about research, then you will want to know that microfilm parish records are available for the church at Wislok Weliki! You may order and rent them at a local LDS Church Family History Center near you, here is what they have:
Title Ksi©gi metrykalne, 1784-1871
Authors Ko˜ci¢ˆ grecko-katolicki. Parafja Wisˆok Wielki (Sanok) (Main Author)
Notes Mikrofilm oryginaˆa w Archiwum Paästwowe, Warszawa.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greek Catholic parish register of baptisms, marriages and deaths for Wisˆok Wielki, Galizien, Austria; now Wisˆok Wielki (Sanok), Rzesz¢w, Poland. Text in Latin and Polish.
As well they have them for Habura!

Did these people immigrate? To the US?
When?
What is "suspected" birthdate?
Where did they settle in the US?
As records will not exist in present day Austria... but in Poland for "George" and in Slovkia for "Mary" those are the message forums who should post to.
