Hi Robert,
Thank you for answering.It seems that you have also had an interesting life.My family is from Vorarlberg Austria.But then you know that Austrians and Germans don't see history the same way...they seem to argue about it all the time.But then it is true that German history can be complicated and you need to have good and correct books to study from.I was just telling someone the other day that i was looking up the word Margrave in the dictionary,you would think you could rely on a dictionary of all things,but then i was wrong,it depends on the one you read,i went thru 4 dictionaries before i actually came out with the correct definition...the other three dictionaries made me laugh!I guess the same thing go's for history books,i read some that made me laugh and others that were correct and detailed.How are these book publishers expecting people to learn the correct things when they all say something different!!!!Oh well,guess thats what makes the world go around.Thanks again for sharing!
